ABOUT ME

Hey hey y’all, my name is Raegan a.k.a. Rae Cynclaire! I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. I graduated with a B.A. in Studio Art from Smith College and a M.A. in Illustration from the Academy of Art University. As a Black Woman, I want my art to exemplify the beauty and diversity of Black Women. This includes (but not limited to) the diversity of skin tones, physical features, vibes/aesthetics, and there is so much more to come. To start, I have 30 girlies for you to choose from but again our RAE CYNCLAIRE family is ever-growing.

How it All Started

I am not letting my perfectionism stop me from sharing artwork. One of my favorite quotes is as follows: “Start now. Start where you are. Start with fear. Start with pain. Start with doubt. Start with hands shaking. Start with voice trembling, but start. Start and don’t stop. Start where you are, with what you have. Just…start.” Amen? Amen. Welcome to RAE CYNCLAIRE!
